Some people didn’t like working the graveyard shift. I found that I got more work done during the night than during the day.

There were no conference calls, video meetings, or clients calling about their orders. It was quiet for the most part.

Sure, the sounds of the warehouse floor would make it up to the offices, but I could almost ignore it for the most part.

I got to work on some much-needed documents when one of the floor supervisors knocked on my door.

They only came up here during this shift because someone didn’t show up.

“Who is it this time?” I asked as the door opened.

“Claire is running late, and Nicole and Thomas aren’t coming,” Marcus said.

“Okay,” I moused over to my already opened late and no-show document. “Ha, good.” I smiled. “We can terminate Nicole.” I smiled. “This is her fifth time in a row.”

“Good, she was no good anyway.” Marcus smiled.

I had dealt with Nicole, and she was always complaining about anything and everything. And the first words out of her mouth every night were asking how long we had to work that night.

“I will call Claire and see what’s wrong,” I said.

He held his earbud to his ear. “She just showed up,” he said.

“Twenty minutes late, that’s not too bad.” I shrugged.

“Not at all.” Marcus smiled as he exited.

I got caught up in some work, and the noise of the machinery became a distant hum.

“Hey,” Claire said as she peeked into my office.

“They need you downstairs.” She stared at the glowing red light.

I ran down the hall and jumped down a few stairs.

“Alex caught his hand in the machine, doesn’t look too bad,” Luke said.

He was the medic we had on staff, and we had one on all the shifts. Our heavy machinery could cause major damage if used incorrectly.

“Anybody else hurt?” I asked as we put the proper gear on to clean up the mess with Luke watching.

“Nope, just Alex’s dumb ass,” Marcus said.

I reviewed the video and ensured we weren’t at fault; the proper medics came for Alex and took him to the emergency room at the local hospital.

“What’s her husband’s name?” Marcus asked me.

We were watching Claire as she walked towards the exit.

“He isn’t doing something right,” Oliver said. “A phat ass like that and he letting it just come to work like that,” he shook his head.

“I will lock that shit up and none of you fools would see it.” Marcus shook his head.

I didn’t mention to them that just two nights ago, I had my cock balls deep in that ass. My cock throbbed as I remembered how it looked and how Claire’s ass bounced and rippled off me.

“Should be illegal for a white woman to have big tits and ass like that,” Oliver said.

“Guys, come on.” I smiled. “She’s married, and last time I checked so were you two.”

“Too late, there she is now,” Oliver said as his phone rang.

I went to my car and saw Claire waiting outside. Everyone had been gone for a while now, but I had stayed to do some paperwork on the accident.

“Steven is supposed to pick me up,” Claire said. “His car broke down so we are sharing,” she sounded annoyed.

“Yeah, twice, no answer, the fucker must be still asleep or getting ready for work.” Claire paced back and forth.

“I can take you, it’s not out of my way,” I offered.

She climbed into my truck, and I drove toward her house. I had been there a couple of times before I got promoted. Steven was still a dick back then; he hated any guy coming close to his wife or his house.
