1960s Bands and Singers Still Touring in 2026
Remembering the 60s

Groovy Music
The 1960s saw the British Invasion explode when The Beatles first arrived in the United States. A variety of music genres were hitting the Billboard charts, including rock, folk, pop, and R&B.
This was a great decade for music, and fortunately, some of the best artists of the era are still performing live on tour, such as The Four Tops shown above. Check out who is still touring.
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
With an astonishing 71 chart hits, including 8 number one records, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are still delighting concert goers with such hits as "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," "Walk Like a Man," "Big Girls Don't Cry," and their first hit, "Sherry," which was released in 1962.
Herman's Hermits
Peter Noone was only 15 years old when his band, Herman's Hermits, released their first single, "I'm Into Something Good." Over the next several years, the band had several hits, including "There's a Kind of Hush," "I'm Henry VIII, I Am," and "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter."

Micky Dolenz of The Monkees
Debuting in 1966, the TV series The Monkees brought instant stardom to the group, also launching the band's music career, which, over time, gave them 20 singles that hit the Billboard Hot 100 list, including three #1 songs: "I'm a Believer," Last Train to Clarksville," and "Daydream Believer."
The only surviving member of the group, Dolenz, is keeping their music and legacy alive while performing and paying tribute to the band.
The Temptations
With the release of their first #1 single, "My Girl," The Temptations have continued to turn out hit after hit with such songs as "Just My Imagination," "Get Ready," and "Papa Was a Rolling Stone."
Not only has this multiple Grammy Award-winning band been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but they also have their own star on Hollywood Boulevard. Frontman Otis Williams is still leading the group.

Lulu
In 1967, Lulu achieved international success when she starred with Sidney Poitier in To Sir, With Love. In addition to acting in the film, she also sang the movie's theme song by the same name. This was not the only movie theme she was responsible for. In 1974, she recorded the James Bond movie theme song "The Man With the Golden Gun."
Lulu is still captivating audiences with her vocals, with most of her tour dates being in Europe.
Bob Dylan
With a career spanning over sixty years, singer/songwriter Bob Dylan has not only written over 500 songs including "Like a Rolling Stone," "Rainy Day Women #12 and 35" and "Lay Lady Lay," which he recorded himself, but has been covered by numerous artists including The Byrds, Peter, Paul and Mary, and Joan Baez.

Ringo Starr
As drummer to one of the biggest bands ever, The Beatles, Ringo Starr first delighted fans with his percussion on their debut album "Please Please Me" in 1963. With hit song after hit song, Starr lent his vocal talents to some of the band's most imaginative songs, including "Yellow Submarine" and "Octopus's Garden."
Starr is currently touring with his All Star Band, which includes Steve Lukather from Toto, Colin Hay from Men at Work, and Hamish Stewart from Average White Band.
The Four Tops
Ranking #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, "Baby I Need Your Loving" was just the first of a sting of hits for The Four Tops. Songs including "I Can't Help Myself, (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)," "Reach Out I'll Be There," and "Standing in the Shadows of Love" landed them in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and also won them a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Santana
With their roots in San Francisco, Santana had their first hit, "Evil Ways," in 1969. Other earlier hits included "Oye Como Va," "Black Magic Woman," and "Everything's Coming Our Way." After the original group split, Carlos Santana continued with his music and went on to sell over 100 million records, win ten Grammy Awards, and be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Judy Collins
She may be 86 years old, but Judy Collins is still singing and playing the guitar and piano on tour. A child piano prodigy, Collins' debut album, "A Maid of Constant Sorrow," was released in 1961, and as of now, she has recorded fifty-five albums, with her latest release, "Spellbound," in 2022. Her best-known earlier songs include "Both Sides Now," "Send in the Clowns," and "Amazing Grace."

Smokey Robinson
With his soulful voice, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles climbed the charts with such iconic hits as "Tears of a Clown," "Ooo Baby Baby," and "The Tears of a Clown." As a solo artist, Robinson went on to score many additional hits, like "Just to See Her," and has won numerous awards including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Beach Boys
Following their debut album "Surfin' Safari" in 1962, the California-based Beach Boys went on to sell over 100 million records, including four #1 hits: "I Get Around," "Good Vibrations," "Kokomo," and "Help Me Rhonda."
With an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and a recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award in 2001, this iconic 1960s band is still on tour with original member Mike Love and longtime member Al Jardine, who are still bringing fans surfing vibes.

Happy Together Tour
Originally founded by The Turtles members Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan in 1884, the Happy Together Tour features such iconic 60s performers as Gary Puckett, The Vogues, The Association, and The Cowsills. Although The Turtles no longer perform on the tour, Ron Dante (formerly of The Archies) performs some of their songs.

There are even more fantastic artists from the 1960s still on tour, including Bob Dylan, The Rascals, Jay and the Americans, Deep Purple, Tommy James and the Shondells, and Patti LaBelle.
If you could see any of the above artists on tour, who would you most like to see? Please let me know in the comments below.

Ah the memories Janis. The Herman's Hermits were one of my favorites. And Franki Vali, and don't forget the Beach Boys, their music went through generations. Thanks for the memories Janis. I enjoyed your article. Well Done!!!
Oh wow, I can't believe they're still touring! That's so impressive. I'm not a fan of live music, concerts, or performances. But seriously, for their age, I respect their dedication so much!
