About this challenge
Whoever said vegan desserts were boring is in for a delicious surprise. Baked goods can be creamy, buttery, or indulgent without the traditional milk, butter, cream, or other animal byproducts in the mix! No matter who you are—a non-vegan, pescatarian, vegetarian or not—vegan pastries are guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth. For this Challenge, we need you, our community of flavor-forward and conscious baking creators, to convince those who are doubtful about vegan goodies with your yummiest recipes! Enter the Vegan Bake-off Challenge and share your vegan recipes with the rest of the community and us to enjoy!
Is this a go-to for family gatherings, holidays, and special occasions? What about this decadent dessert makes it a crowd-pleaser? Don't forget to share all the required ingredients and the steps to prepare them, so we can all learn a thing or two! Lead us through the recipe and tell us why others should give it a try - whether they're vegan or not. Please be sure to include photos of your sweet treats so we can drool over your baking skills!
This Challenge is a splurge-worthy, dairy and animal byproduct-free space, so whether this is your first try at baking something vegan or an age-old recipe that's been passed down, on your mark, get set, bake!

Mismatch Challenge Winners
Blending genres isn’t about stacking elements side by side. It’s about what happens when two sets of expectations refuse to cooperate. The strongest entries in the Mismatch Challenge understood that tension and leaned into it. Rather than smoothing the edges, these stories let their chosen genres complicate one another, creating friction that carried through voice, structure, and consequence.

Public Announcement Challenge Winners
For the Public Announcement Challenge, writers were asked to work inside voices built for control. These were notices, warnings, and updates meant to inform rather than confess. The strongest entries committed to that form and didn't break from it. Corporate memos, formal government alerts, and internal policy language were held consistently, allowing emotion, fear, grief, or humor to surface indirectly through pressure rather than declaration. The following poems recognize the voice of authority, and let human feeling slip through despite all its rules and restraint.
