A Conversation with Time
A quiet reflection on growth, memory, and the unseen moments that slowly shape who we become

✨
Hi Time, it’s just me
I’m whispering to you
from the quiet hour
between who I was
and who I’m becoming
the corridor of memory
the doorway of tomorrow
the fragile bridge
of this very moment
I am standing here
with pockets full of yesterdays
and hands still empty
of what tomorrow holds
Time, you watched me
when I was small
when my dreams were
bigger than the sky
you saw my first courage
my first breaking
my first moment
of learning how to breathe
through disappointment
you carried away
the voices that doubted me
you kept the echoes
of laughter
somewhere safe
like an unseen sculptor
you chipped away
at the stone of my fears
slowly
patiently
turning rough edges
into quiet strength
the lines on my face
the lessons in my bones
the stories in my eyes
all signatures
of your passing
I used to fear you
your ticking footsteps
your endless forward march
but now I see
you were never chasing me
you were guiding me
through open doors
through closed chapters
through storms
and sudden sunlight
and here I stand
at another edge
of another beginning
not afraid
not lost
because I finally understand
every second
every stumble
every small miracle
was shaping the wings
I didn’t know
I was growing.
