A stitch in time saves nine

Poem

A stitch in time saves nine

But, how do I know those stitches are mine?

I'm a liar! I knew those stitches were mine

It was once one stitch, Overtime became nine

I knew all the bumps on that road

Still, I travelled that way as a foolish toad

The first injury told me to change my way

Slap me, 'cause I ignored the injury that day

God tried to cause me no pain at all

I ignored God, as if I wished to wait for the fall!

I also felt the second rash, I had all the light

I didn't stop to treat it, there's nothing to fight

When I spiked myself for the fifth time

I felt, on my injury, someone was squeezing lime

For a moment, I thought to change my route

"But you have come so far", screamed my boot

I continued to walk on the path that ached

My injuries became stiff as if something baked

Finally, when it was time for the ninth scratch

I teared apart into pieces I couldn't catch

Broken me tried to mend myself; all those stitches

It was time when I remembered my first stitch in glitches

I wish I could stitch my first itch in time

It hurts to stitch all these scratches; all nine

.

A/N:

Hi everyone! I'm glad I'm back(at least for now). Life's kind of rough. I guess that's what happens when you turn 18. I don't know but I'm not excited for growing up anymore. But, whatever it is... I know good days are waiting somewhere out there. And I know, losing hope ain't an option. How have you all been doing?

It’s great to see you back! I hope things get better for you. I know life can throw us far too many curveballs sometimes.
