Coffee
There's probably a reason you're addicted
Coffee is my anti-murdering juice,
A cup a day keeps me sane enough to function in society.
You could say it's my version of a ciggerate.
My instant hit of dopamine- happy juice, or do I just like the creamer?
Maybe.
It could also be the only consistent thing I can drink daily that keeps me happy,
Or am I just addicted to caffeine?
Maybe.
I can't help it though,
Caffeine keeps the demons at bay.
Or is it because I don't look good in orange?
Maybe.
I do know I am too pretty for prison,
Maybe.
So, I'll continue to drink my coffee.

The Piggy Project
I’ve had so many names in this life I lose track of which ones were ever really mine and which ones I wore because someone needed me to. Some were handed to me before I had words to refuse them, before I knew what they meant, before I knew I could say no. Most weren’t meant to hurt. That doesn’t mean they didn’t leave marks. Marks that told me who I belong to, who I am by way of who claims me, recognizes me in the good and bad, who walks beside me.
