My flesh keeps pushing away what my soul needs
Come help me breathe
In a hard fight between what my flesh craves and the healing I need
The same feeling keeps coming up again
But my flesh finds comfort in sins
Not trying to justify
My soul stills unsatisfied
Come quench its thirst
You said seek You first
But my mind gets distracted
The devil keeps attacking
Letting him win is not satisfactory
I’ll stop giving into sin
Focusing on Your plan
Choosing you so I can finally win
