Heavy Words

A burden

Imagine if every time you needed to write it was a chore

Hard labour to put down one word

Or maybe you had to lift it like a heavy load

A huge block

More than writer's block

It was an actual ten ton slab

It might feel like a burden

But I am sure you would find a way to write some words down

There would always be a story to tell

Even if it felt like you were having a bad spell

Plenty to say so don't be afraid

The letters will always stay

There might be some things to add to the list

But only if you insist

Tales that you can't resist

It will be an adventure if you persist

But words can't wait

Even with such weight

A good story is always worth the wait

Even if it seems a bit late

Everyone has a different taste

But this journey I hope you will anticipate

The best message can only be shared but not by half or even thirds

Such things can only be said with heavy words
