How does it work?
To make a new change We must deconstruct ourselves To usher in hope

I Love the transformative feel of this. Can't wait to see the butterflies come out. Won't be long.

Love the simplicity of the haiku and your photo! Well done!
If hope is what emerges from the cocoon, what is it that entered the cocoon? This may require some pondering on my part.

1/4/2026 When I wrote this I was searching for a title and I happened across this song by Demi Lovato and it spoke to how I feel when I write. It feels like I'm screaming into the void and none hear me. My words are taking forever to land but I am hoping light years from now, I will be famous (LOL). And people will look back and wonder what the author was thinking. Unintentionally, when I recite this verbally or in my head, if read as rap-it works best after the 7th line and after "persecutions" the last 8 lines read in contemplation-or read any way you like. I'm just the writer.
