I remember that photo, my brother used to read Mad magazine, but I never read it. Nice haiku, Andrea. Nicely Done, - this was a fun one that bought back memories of my big brother who passed away in 2022. Thank you for posting this.
I recall one of my older brothers sometimes read MAD. I found it very strange and have a vague memory of a poem about addiction to tobacco…. “To a bigot it’s a commie guff, To a smoker it’s a puff.” And yes that big eared boy…
