Take me…

to the mountains and valleys

of your body

Flung to earth

to taste the landscape of your lips

in the shifting sands of change.

Hear me…

Mute with unheard music

A homing pigeon on the wing

Searching for a place to rest

in this forgotten land

Of love.

A homing pigeon on the wing, I didn't know they were birds of love either, I thought it was dove's, but they look similar anyway. Nicely done!!
