My Toast
Toasted bread my go to food fast and I can make it
By George’s Girl 2026 Published about a year ago • 1 min read

A taste good enough for anyone
Golden and warm, my toast on the rise,
A leap from the toaster, oh, what a surprise!
Butter's a-splashing, it lands with a thud,
Upside down, in a puddle of crud.
Crispy and proud, it made quite the show,
A breakfast ballet, though it's not one to crow.
Yet laughter erupts, as I pick up the scrap,
My toast, a comedian, in a buttery trap!
