Poorly Me

Fast Fix Required

By George’s Girl 2026 Published about a year ago 1 min read
Not Quite Sure What I Have Got Here 👀

Coughing, sneezing, God, I am ill

Why is there no magic pill?

Winter cold or worst thought, COVID?

Lord above, save me, my beloved.

Chasing remedies for fast antidotes,

Eyes of aliens, balls of toads.

Solution needed fast, up here;

I want to be better, flu or COVID clear.

Magic pills from bats up high hills,

If flu don’t get you, COVID kills.

Fix me up before the dawn breaks,

Badgers, testicles, and earwax fish cakes.

I will try almost anything to get well—

Flu or COVID, whichever, go to hell.

For Fun
