for the "say it plainly" challenge

I love you.

There’s no other way to say it.

I love you.

A million other people,

Have said it a million other ways,

But all I can say is-

All I know how to say is-

All I want to say is-

I love you.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

Shall I compare my feelings for you to a dream?

A rose?

A fire?

The sea?

I love you,

And that’s all there is to it.

I can build worlds from words,

Castles from consonants,

Valleys from vowels,

But one look from you

And they crumble into one breath,

three small words;

I love you.

I love you.

I love you.

This is absolutely lovely - such a rich take on the challenge, which adheres to the 'straightforward' requirement while still getting to the heart of a profound love. Wonderful work!
