A silent Abigail acrostic
Shhhhh. Be very, very quiet.
I know you’re sleeping, but
lo and behold, it’s 3 a.m. and I am an
energetic and enigmatic ball of fur and magic toe beans.
Nibbling on fingers. Swatting at feet. Jumping round and round.
Chasing anything that dares to move beneath the blankets, until you, my pet, finally break the silence,
even if it is with bellowed words not safe for my tiny kitten ears.

Absolutely gorgeous acrostic 😆… recently when our elderly cat was sleeping, she tended to sleep until 4:30 & then yell to wake us on the hour until we got up 🤣.
I’ve never had a cat, but this I can imagine🤣 “energetic and enigmatic ball of fur and magic toe beans.”- a good way of summing them up, and I like how the perspective of pet is shifted to us as the owner.
