In the realm of tactile delight,
Where hands find solace, day or night,
There exists a realm of perfect ease,
A phenomenon that brings us peace.
Oh, something smooth, a gentle touch,
A velvet whisper, we love so much,
It glides beneath our fingertips,
A sensation that forever grips.
A pebble polished by the sea,
Caressed by waves, so tenderly,
Its surface, worn by time and tide,
A testament to nature’s pride.
Smooth as silk, the midnight sky,
Studded with stars that catch the eye,
A celestial canvas, vast and grand,
Where dreams take flight, hand in hand.
A river’s flow, so calm and serene,
Its currents gentle, its waters clean,
Smooth as glass, it mirrors the sky,
Reflecting beauty, as time goes by.
A baby’s skin, so soft and pure,
A touch that makes our hearts endure,
With every stroke, a bond is made,
A love that never fades or fades.
Smooth as honey, sweet and warm,
A golden elixir, nature’s charm,
It drips and glides, a liquid gold,
A taste so rich, a story untold.
Smooth as poetry, the words that flow,
A rhythmic dance, where meanings grow,
They paint emotions, with every line,
A symphony of thoughts, so divine.
Smooth as love, a tender embrace,
A gentle kiss, a sacred space,
It soothes the soul, ignites the fire,
A passion that never will expire.
So let us cherish what’s smooth and fine,
In every touch, a moment divine,
For in these moments, we find release,
A respite from life, a sense of peace.

Review of 'Man on the Run'
My wife and I saw Man on the Run, a nearly 2-hour documentary on Amazon Prime, about Wings, Paul McCartney's group that flew around the world from shortly after The Beatles broke up in early 1970 to shortly after John Lennon was murdered at the end of 1980, making a Beatles reunion forever impossible.
