'Till Death We Do Art
There would be nothing divine in this world without art. Nature may surpass the divine to all intents and purposes, but like everything it absorbs and is absorbed by, it remains here, stuck on the surface of this world, ever-present, physically bound to the universe.

um, Hi
July 3, 2022 The Sun and the Moon House, Beacon Hill, Seattle um, Hi Woke up, made coffee & breakfast, meditated. Sat on the porch w/ Al. It’s cold today — not really but overcast & windy. The few hot days spoiled us — I miss them already. “I like to appear busy online.” Who is watching us? Anyone could be, that’s the thrill. Offering, giving something up. I’ve started getting TikToks about romantic obsession on my fyp. Not too rare, I suppose. Most people are obsessed with something.

Review: Children of the Whales, first 3 episodes
I grew up upon anime. “3000 Miles in Search of a Mother”, “Nils Holgersson”, “The Moomins”, studio Ghibly, etc. but nowadays Netflix anime (their original ones, or at least some) is empty artstype wise, content wise. Repetitive. Plus, there’s a theme of violence and women opression (at least in some past animes) that is unclear and unethical.

The Power of Small Wins. AI-Generated.
In the small town of Oakhaven, nestled between green hills and a shimmering lake, life was peaceful and predictable. But the town was home to a group of friends who dreamed of doing something extraordinary. Among them were Leo, the imaginative dreamer; Emma, the practical planner; and Raj, the brilliant inventor. They often gathered in their secret hideout, an old treehouse with creaky wooden floors surrounded by thick branches, to share their ideas.

David Bowie: Identity as Art and Philosophy
David Bowie didn’t just make music. He made selves. Each era of his career arrived with a new face, a new voice, a new story about who he was allowed to be. Ziggy Stardust fell from the stars to preach doomed glamour. The Thin White Duke stalked across the stage with ice-cold elegance. Then there were the quieter, searching versions—Bowie as wanderer, as witness, as man growing older without pretending to stay young. This wasn’t costume for costume’s sake. It was a living philosophy: identity is not discovered; it’s created.
