Aging — Will My Body Go The Only Way It Knows
Dedicated to everyone enduring challenges, trials, and pain in our world now. Listening to a group of older folks talking and complaining about how life without estrogen and a decline in testosterone is making their lives and living impossible, and I wonder.

I Love You — Do You Want To Hear It? Or Be Shown It?
“You are late!” Ora said to Michelle as she hurried to her seat between Tami and Linda in Hailey’s Heaven Fine Foods. An expensive upscale restaurant not far from home. Sitting down, putting her bag on the left side of her wooden chair, she apologized, “Sorry, but Tony got delayed and picked me up late.”

Dopamine And Addiction — How Much Dopamine Were You Born With?
Reading about addiction and the significant role Dopamine plays, I wondered about my life. I am addicted to kindness, writing, and art. I do get pleasure from doing all three, but the pleasure isn’t significant enough for me to self-destruct. I have managed to establish a level of control where life gave me reasons to write, drawing inspiration and healing myself through the power of words. I want kindness, so I give it. Blame Is Lighter When Shared
The Bible says, ‘teach the child the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.’ Steven Orr stared at his mother, reading her expression after the verdict was read. Her facial expression showed nothing, no regret, no sorrow, no love, no remorse, no shock. Her emotions were empty, devoid of sympathy. Staring deeper into her eyes, he saw an empty soul. A soul without understanding, curiosity, nothing that showed she was sorry for the death sentence handed down by a jury of twelve to her only son.

Suicide And Laughter— Can laughter heal what words can’t?
Do you believe laughter can heal something words can’t? Tears rattled Sofie’s body from deep within as she staggered towards the window, after grabbing a chair from around the small oval table nearby. Pushing the pink lace curtain to her left, then opening the window, staring down more than two hundred feet from the tenth floor. ‘Maybe death is better than this?’ a voice asked from the depths within her.
