My Review of "Wonder Woman 1984"
Wonder Woman 1984 was one of the big box office movies that was supposed to come out in theatres in 2020 but was delayed and eventually released via video on demand. There's a big controversy with its release because it marks a change in the direction of how Hollywood would release their titles during the pandemic.

My Review of "The Army of the Dead"
The Army of the Dead is Zack Snyder's most recent movie of 2021. It's also a Netflix exclusive movie. There's a lot of hype going on about this movie because of the production put into this movie and it shows. I did however have a few gripes about the movie that I'm not sure others. Sorry if I spoil anything for anyone but I'll try to keep spoils to a minimum.

Gemini's Unite!
Gemini's are known as the twin zodiac. We're known to have two different personality characteristics. You have to understand they have a duality to them that isn't quite understandable at times but there's a number of reasons why the Gemini will have it great this year.

My Review of "MasterChef Canada: Back to Win"
MasterChef Canada: Back to Win is the 7th season of the popular MasterChef Canada series. It's been a while since I've seen this show and it has to be the one reality competition series I can't wait to watch on TV. Season 6 finished up in the spring of 2019 and then the pandemic hit.

My Review of "Turbo"
Turbo is a Dreamworks animated feature that came out back in 2013. It's about a snail gaining super speed abilities. It's a very simple concept but it's also meant for the general audience because it's a family family film. For an animated feature from back in 2013, the visuals haven't aged badly. I was surprised at how much I was still able to enjoy this film.

The Internet Should be Considered Essential
All things considered, the internet has come to us very recently. The official birthdate of the internet is January 1st 1983. This means that there is already generations of adults that have lived a life not knowing what life would be like without the internet. Over the close to 40 years of evolution the internet has taken a life of its own. With our increasing dependency of it how do we not consider it a life essential?

My Review of "Sound of Metal"
The Sound of Metal is a small budgeted movie that came out in 2019. Not a lot of advertising had come out for this movie. Through word of mouth recently, this movie has been getting some buzz. I think people like the existential exploration of the main character. Through his adventure of finding himself we see a lot of genuine situations and emotions. It's a lot to take in and that's what makes this movie great.

My Review of "American Ninja Warrior Women's Championship 2021"
American Ninja Warrior Women's Championship 2021 aired last Sunday during Mother's Day. I had no idea that it was going to air but it was lucky that my PVR was able to record it. Thank you PVR for recording everything American Ninja Warrior related.

Lessons from mom
I have always had a decent relationship with my mother. It wasn't your typical close relationship but I knew my mom knew more about me than I thought she did. Sadly she passed away back in 2012 but the lessons she provided to me throughout my formative years changed me to the man I am today.

Happiness just came by
Prior to this whole pandemic mayhem we're experiencing right now I used to organize weekly dance practices. It was a good year and a half but I remember how much it fulfilled me while helping me physically and mentally. Now I yearn for the world to go back to normal so that I can get that same sense of happiness that I once knew. I never really felt that I took this happiness for granted but the lockdown made me realize just how lucky I really was.

My Review of "Tenet"
Tenet was one of the most anticipated movies of 2020. It came out with a bunch of mixed reviews that discouraged me from watching the movie. I heard it was over bloated and pretentious. By now I should know not to take movie critic reviews so seriously since it's all a matter of perspective. The root thing about a movie is if it can entertain me. I can gladly tell you that I was able to enjoy my time watching this movie.

My Review of "Lucky Grandma"
Lucky Grandma is a comedy that came out in 2019. I didn't hear too much about this one because it is a low budget independent movie. Although, the grandma starts off as an unlikeable grump, I eventually grew to like her through the movie. I went even so far as cheered for her by the end of the movie. Despite the many comical situations that happen in this movie there are some deeper existential questions sprinkled throughout the movie.
