She manipulated her daughter-in-law Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) into giving her Sally Spectra's (Courtney Hope) old job. Gloria even talked with Sally a few times and gave her sage advice and then she went MIA yet again.

Taylor has been on and of the CBS soap for 29 years first exiting in 1994 and returning a few l months later.

Christian LeBlanc Steps Away from Michael Baldwin Christian LeBlanc portrays lawyer Michael Baldwin on The Young and the Restless. His character is currently assisting Amanda Sinclair with a case but otherwise is absent from Genoa City. Fans love this soap vet and are delighted when he appears on the screen. LeBlanc made headlines in 2020 when he allowed his hair to go gray during the pandemic. Soap actors began doing their own hair and when restrictions let up LeBlanc decided to rock his silver mane rather than dye it and the fans love the new look.

Susan Banks Evolution Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) is in big trouble as she has just been turned into a black cat by possessed Marlena Evans. This quirky character was portrayed by Eileen Davidson from November 4, 1996 to April 8, 1998, and she reprised the role in 2014 and 2017. Davidson reprised the role for the five-episode Peacock Streaming Service Series Days of Our Lives beyond Salem. Susan is the eccentric yet lovable mother of Elvis "EJ" DiMera. Stefano DiMera dressed up as Elvis Pressley and had sex with Susan who believed the king of rock and roll sired her son. Brynn Thayer took over the role of Susan for one brief appearance on December 7, 2011.

General Hospital Fans Don't Want Jason Killed Off
Jason Morgan is a beloved character General Hospital fans are being very outspoken regarding the alleged firing of Steve Burton from the ABC soap. Viewers are overwhelmingly saying that if Steve goes they want the beloved character to remain in Port Charles. Burton has allegedly taped his last scenes so if he has been killed off there is not much that can be done. Some viewers are saying they do not desire a repeat of the past where Jason disappears and returns with a new face. First, there was Billy Miller being hired in the role, Burton returning as Patient 6 then determined to be the real Jason. Now Drew was presumed dead and is alive and fans are just tired of those scenarios.

Jerry Douglas: The early years The soap world is mourning the death of legendary actor Jerry Douglas who portrayed John Abbott on the CBS soap The Young and the Restless. Douglas died on November just three days shy of his 89th birthday. The veteran soap star was born Gerald Rubenstein in Chelsea, Massachusetts in November 12, 1932 to William Rubenstein and Rose (Silbert) Rubenstein who were Russian Jewish immigrants. He attended law school for eight months before giving it up to pursue an acting career.

Barbara Pepper originated the role of Doris Zifel who was married to Fred Ziffel (Hank Patterson) and they were the parents of Arnold the pig. The actress was born Marion Pepper in New York City, to actor David Mitchell "Dave" Pepper, and his wife, Harrietta S. Pepper. Barbara began acting at age 16 with Goldwyn Girls, a musical stock company where she met Lucille Ball and the two became friends.

The Beginning Dan Bullock was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and lived there until the age of 11. This is when his mother died and he along with his younger sister, Gloria, moved to Brooklyn, New York to live with their father and stepmother. Some reports say that it was his grandmother's death that caused him to move to New York. His goal was to become a police officer, a pilot, or a U.S. Marine. Due to racial discrimination African American soldiers often did not receive the same honor as their white comrades.

CBS has confirmed that Conner Floyd will indeed be in the role the new Phillip Chancellor IV. Fans began suspecting this was true after Amelia Heinle posted an image where there was a sign welcoming the hero back to Genoa City. Abby has gone through a lot while her husband was missing and the homecoming may not be as glorious as everyone might think. Chance missed Mariah's entire pregnancy and the birth of his son Dominic and all the drama of these first 3 months.

The Young and the Restless: Sally Spectra's pipe dream will never come to pass
On Wednesday's episode of The Young and the Restless Sally Spectra complained so much that Chloe told her to give it a rest. The redhead spent the entire episode asking why Phyllis got a free pass and she did not. Phyllis has been in Genoa City for more than 3 decades and has an extensive history with the residents. Sally is a newcomer who has only caused problems and done nothing to redeem herself. She is wearing her probationary period thin and probably will never be accepted by the people she wants to impress.
