Three Actresses, Two Faces, One Memorable Character: A Look at Neely Capshaw
In all of my stories about Cobra Kai, I've said that watching that show back in September 2023 helped me get through an illness I had. It was around Labor Day Weekend that I was watching that awesome show, and it was at that same time that I was sick to the point where I thought I had COVID for the second time (I first caught it on November 1, 2022). So yeah, Cobra Kai was a show that helped. It wasn't the only one.

The Terrific and Stellar Career of Eric Dane
On February 19, 2006, viewers and fans of ABC's hit series, Grey's Anatomy, were introduced to Dr. Mark Sloan, who was dubbed with the famous nickname, "McSteamy," by many fans. Eric Dane played this amazing character beginning with that evening's episode, "Yesterday," which was the 18th episode of the show's second season.

Reviewing "Strong Medicine"
I still remember when Lifetime had their share of original series about a quarter-century ago, and among their shows was Strong Medicine, which had to have been the network's first medical drama. Medical dramas had been a big thing for decades, but during my lifetime, somewhere wedged between NBC's long-running hit, ER, and the current longer-running ABC series, Grey's Anatomy, Lifetime gave us the subject this review, Strong Medicine.

A Stern, Yet Heartfelt Letter to Maple Leafs Fans
To any fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs, I have this to say: I hope it was worth it. I tried to tell you. I begged the Leafs not to do this. But on June 30, 2025, they did it. They actually traded Mitch Marner. Second-in-command on the Leafs for years, and they dealt him away. Even worse, they traded him for Nicolas Roy. Oh boy. I've said this before in past Vocal stories. I'm an Avalanche fan, not a Maple Leafs fan. However, I consider myself a sympathizer of the Maple Leafs because the team has been ridiculed for their long Stanley Cup drought, mainly by fans of teams who never won one. Those same fans call the Maple Leafs "choke artists," forgetting the fact that teams like the Oilers blow it much worse.

March of the 2025-26 Penguins
One of the many things that fascinates me about Pittsburgh sports is that they keep coaches for a long time. It's not just the NFL's Steelers, the NHL's Penguins hold on to coaches as well. Yet the city saw themselves in a very rare position, as it saw two of their three franchises move on from their longtime coaches in a span of less than a year. The bigger story was Mike Tomlin resigning as Steelers head coach after 19 seasons, but months prior, Mike Sullivan was relieved of his duties as Penguins head coach following the end of the last regular season, which saw the Penguins miss the playoffs for the third straight season.

A Deep Dive Into Puerto Rico's History
Last night, we were treated to an amazing Super Bowl, the 60th edition of the big extravaganza. The Bay Area hosted the game, which was won by the Seattle Seahawks, but the centerpiece of the event was the halftime show. The main performer was Bad Bunny, who I've been a fan of for a few years now, and he showed out, because he always does. I absolutely enjoyed the halftime show, and I definitely wasn't alone, as I was one of 130 million viewers who drank in Bad Bunny's performance.

Super Bowl LX Recap: A Team Called Hawks. Top Story - February 2026.
Sixty. The Super Bowl turned 60! Still amazes me that this was the sixtieth Super Bowl played in NFL history. It seems like yesterday that I watched Super Bowl XXVII, the first SB I ever watched. The QB who won Super Bowl XXVII has since called a few SBs, and will call next year's game, but that's another story. Super Bowl LX took place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the home stadium of the San Francisco 49ers. However, it was one of their division foes who represented the NFC, as the Seattle Seahawks faced off against the New England Patriots.

Power Rangers Review: "Goldar's Vice Versa"
I promised this quite a bit, not just to myself, but to others in my past Power Rangers Reviews. And as two-time WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels said in a June 2005 episode of Raw, "I made a promise, and I'm here to deliver." I remember this so well for so many reasons, one of them being that for Adam Park, Aisha Campbell, and Rocky DeSantos, this was their first full episode as Power Rangers. All three quickly embraced being part of the sextet, especially Adam, who was ready for anything back in Part II of "The Power Transfer."

Cruising the Atlantic Division
The Colorado Avalanche's long seven-game homestand started well, but ended very rocky (no pun intended). We dominated our first two games, but the next five were very messy. The Avs lost four of our last five games in the homestand, but again, because a loss isn't a loss in regular season hockey, it's actually a 1-2-2 stretch in our last five games, which is only one game under "NHL .500" in that time. That's how fortunate and spoiled we are this year; even our lulls aren't truly lulls.
