Erin Caffey Convinces Boyfriend to Kill Family, Dad Survives
When Erin Caffey’s parents forbade her to see her boyfriend, she brutally murdered her entire family as they slept. On March 1, 2018, a call came into Alba, Texas, 9-1-1 dispatchers from a frantic caller stating two men had broken into the Caffey home, killing two kids and Penny Caffey. Only 16-year-old Erin and her father, Terry Caffey, survived the attack.

8-Year-Old Murdered as he Tried to Protect Younger Sister From Mom's Boyfriend
On September 1, 2017, Elizabeth Salone asked her ex-boyfriend, Deandre Chaney Jr. to watch her three young children while she dropped her brother off at work. The couple had a disagreement the night prior but Salone assumed it was over. He agreed to watch the kids. Salone returned home about 40 minutes later at 6:10 a.m. hearing one of the children crying in a bedroom. As she headed toward the crying child, Chaney Jr. struck her in the back of the head with a hammer and tied her up.

The Murder of Jordan Vong
Jennie Bunsom shocked Denver residents in 2018 when she smothered her 7-year-old nephew to death. Just 16-years-old at the time of the incident, Jennie became upset at her nephew after he asked her to play video games with him. In 2021, nearly three years after the murder, Bunsom learned her fate: she is guilty of second-degree murder and tampering with a corpse and will spend the next seven years locked up at a juvenile facility after her conviction in an adult court.

Gay Couple Kill Lesbian Woman
In 2007, Nathan Maynard-Ellis began a relationship with a woman named CW. He was 17, she was a vulnerable 15-year-old who later described the relationship as violent and controlling. Soon after the pair began dating, she noticed Nathan had an obsession with serial killers, death, gore, and evil things. He was obsessed with death and often said he wanted to kill someone. CW said Nathan sometimes carried around a black robe and weapons in case he found “Someone to kill.”

Brian Laundrie Full Autopsy Released
Authorities recovered decomposing partial remains in the Carlton Reserve on October 20, 2021. Those remains were confirmed to be those of 23-year-old Brian Laundrie. On February 14, 2022, Sarasota Medical Examiner Dr. Wilson Broussard released the full autopsy report detailing the cause of death and the exact conditions of Laundrie’s body.
