They cry out, "Let kids be kids!" While the kids are shaking in their beds... Hearing fists pound the front door, Seeing cops arrest their moms and dads.
Aren't we all a series of numbers Collated in a giant database Which may or may not be wallpapering The dining rooms of billionaire abodes?
"How do you go on when the world is on fire?" You put one foot in front of the other... You keep your friends and family close,
I don't exactly believe in you, Yet I find myself speaking to the air. Maybe it's delusional, Definitely irrational, But I used to believe that you cared.

I'll make no compromise In referring to the rights of human beings. It all or none. / I shall clarify what I mean thusly:
They tell me they miss my youth When I was curly-haired and sweet. It's like they hate that I grew up Like I ruined everything.
Life handed me a lipstick, Then handed me a pig. My mother gaslights me Calling me a lazy bitch. / "If you just believed in God again,
if you're pushing me over the edge hoping I'll reach for god again... you better hope that I don't drown because I'll haunt you till your own end.
An ocean apart... Yet we share the same heart... A heart that begs for peace. We feel so ashamed... Of promises our leaders have maimed...
