Bio
Writing has become more important as I live with cancer. It's a therapy, it's an escape, and it's a way to do something lasting that hopefully leaves an impression.

Lights, Camera, Action, And As Many Takes As You Need To Get It Right
Words. We don't always know which ones to use. Nor do we know at which time to use them. In the modern world, words are as important as breathing. They set the tone for most of our lives, culture, successes, and failures. Wouldn't it be nice if we somehow knew which ones to use and when to use them?

We Can Learn From The Past To Strike Back At Our Biggest Problems In The World
Remember when you were young and in school. Think about the lessons your teachers, instructors, and professors tried to teach you. Whether you were a studious youngster or the wildest of boys and girls, you probably remember someone that taught you much of what you learned in school. Perhaps you even had a favorite teacher, someone you look back on fondly and wish you’d listened to more when they spoke. What we’ve all grown up to learn is that our favorite teachers weren’t our best teachers at all.

We All Lost Something When Words Became Too Powerful
Words aren’t supposed to hurt. The smallest, youngest of us, play with blocks printed with letters. We encourage them to make words, learn to speak, and express themselves. Somewhere along the way, words took on a new meaning in society. We lost when we started letting words hurt as much as sticks and stones or fists and guns.

The Reason When It Comes To The Avengers And Marvel, Tony Stark Will Always Be The Man
It doesn’t seem possible that it’s been more than two years since the death of Tony Stark in the MCU. Here we are, hearing of a cameo as Iron Man by Tom Cruise and left to wonder what that means for the future of the Iron Man character. However, let’s not forget the journey of the original Iron Man, Tony Stark.

When Promoting On Facebook Do You Ever Wonder If This Works
Reading is hardly something that looks like it does above. That’s because writing has changed so much within the past few decades. Anyone that’s writing and using social media to promote their work has probably seen the statement, ‘Read, then drop your links, and I’ll return the favor.’ When I first started writing online, I noticed this becoming more of a trend over time, especially on Facebook. It does lead me to a couple of questions.

The Tiniest American Hero Left Her Mark On All Of Us
She was a tiny built whiz at math and physics, an associate professor, and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Her attitude, strength, skill, and belief in herself put her in the room with Presidents and her name lives on long after she passed.

Evil May Triumph When Good People Do Nothing
Evil may triumph when good men do nothing, but the peaceful, good men and women of the world, can stand with the citizens of Ukraine and show our support. There is something that we can all do to help the innocent people that have been chased away from their homes as the country suffers the destructive power of war.

Spotting Vampires Is Easy When You Know The Characteristics
Before you are unknowingly guilty of allowing a vampire to suck life-blood from you, do you know the vampires in your world? Look around at your world, your daily routine, and imagine that you can see their teeth before they show them to you. Forget everything you know or think you know about vampires. To defeat vampires, we have to accept that they are a part of our society and that they will do us nothing but harm.

Why A Movement Lost Support
Police brutality, police corruption, and police “killings” of people of color have remained a steady debate for many years, with no apparent end in sight to the debate. In every jurisdiction across the United States, there are discussions about how to deal with the public, how to deal with the criminal element, and how to protect the innocent from the predators in this world. Like it, or not, there are predators in this world.
