Writing has become more important as I live with cancer. It's a therapy, it's an escape, and it's a way to do something lasting that hopefully leaves an impression.

I Met Your Mother One Weekend In Shark Infested Waters
What were they thinking? For that matter, what was I thinking? I was a design engineer and while designing this marvel of luxury and extravagance was fun and certainly lucrative, staying in one of these things certainly was never on my bucket list. When Jim Halburn came to me with the proposal, why didn't I just say no? I surely could have explained to him that I had other projects to work on, family commitments, even a girlfriend that needed me. Here I was, however, living twenty feet below sea level in one of the world's premier underwater hotels. I would have rather they not chosen the name Atlantis, however. That was an awful choice of names for a place to put up to five hundred people.

Survival Sometimes Means Having To Face The Most Impossible Circumstances And Having To Run Directly In The Opposite Direction Of What You Might Think Of Doing Before You're Faced With Making A Decision.
I've thought about this for a while, and I think it is a story worth telling. This is a story of survival, mental health battles, trauma, and loss. I say survival first because that is the most important part of this story or any story in this crazy world, survival.

Chocolate Cake, A Boxcutter, and Murder
I love Amsterdam this time of year. So, when I was asked by the director to take a trip to Amsterdam and clean up a mess, all I asked him was when do I leave? Tomorrow morning, he answered me without missing a beat. I had been booked on a flight out of Laguardia.

What If The Election Audits Did Go In Favor Of Donald Trump And What Might The Supreme Court, The Military, Congress, And The Trump Supporters Do If The Unimaginable Should Happen?
After a day of our favorite ex-president being in the news talking about his big tech suits, and more than a dozen reporters that have published their opinions and legal opinions on the question of the forensic election audits, I decided to sit down and take my own look at what might be should the unimaginable actually happen.

At World End
Morning came faster than I thought it would and Johnny was starting to wake up after sleeping in a bed for the first time in two years. I couldn't go anywhere without the pooch, not even to the lavatory. As I stood there, half-awake, trying to relieve myself for the first time today, Johnny stood watching me carefully. I could tell that he was in a hurry to go for a walk, and probably do the same thing. After I finished, tucking myself back in the khaki pants I found in the closet when I got out of bed, I tapped my thigh, motioning for my trusted pal to follow.

After The Asteroid Struck Earth
Every story starts somewhere in time, and for me, this story started in the year 1997, with a story I found somewhat implausible. The asteroid was nearly thirty years away. Named 1997-XF11, it was going to be the biggest threat to the earth at just five thousand miles distance when it eventually flew through our part of the galaxy. N.A.S.A, however, disagreed in rapid time, calling the findings of the original team off by as much as 290,000 miles. Two years by a group of scientists recruited and paid for by billionaire investors or two weeks by a group of government scientists, whose findings can be classified by the bureaucrats. Which would you believe?

As one-half of the Rockers, along with WWE Hall of Famer and legend, Shawn Michaels, Jannetty, and Michaels were one of the tag teams that could be depended on to bring the fans to their feet. It was the golden era of tag team wrestling.

Who Was The First Black Superhero In Film
Nobody will ever, and I mean ever, forget the mega-hit, blockbuster success, that was Black Panther. Perhaps it was the timing of the movie, the already storied success of anything with the name Marvel, or some other lame excuse that people have come up with for its stellar performance, and its place in the "billion-dollar club" of movies. Excuses like that are crimes because what Ryan Coogler (director) and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther/T'Challa) did together was one of the most memorable superhero movies of the entire genre.
