Getting Back into the Swing of Things
I have been out of commission since Friday the 16th. I injured my knee at the beginning of November, something I thought had gotten better, but it unexpectedly returned worse than when the injury happened. The pain blackouts, and being stuck on the couch/chair where my leg can be properly propped up day and night have kept writing and interaction out of reach.

After a trip like this, there would usually be a few days of traveling time to think things through and decompress. Instead, everyone congregated, Ginny and Neisha cast the spells, and the group was whisked away from whence they came. Francine knew to expect things to be in a possible state of disarray when they arrived home, but she was still slapped in the face by the stack of crates in the atrium and jumped as Azure bellowed from behind her:

The Adventurous Button Thief
Bodkin, the button thief, had known a comfortable, solitary life since she settled in the walls and empty spaces surrounding the Spindle Glow Crossing general store some years ago. The store seemed new then, with sawdust in the eaves, and sticky tar still oozing through some of the roof slats, all long gone now. The Tranquil Forest is infiltrated with fairies and all manner of oddkins, with a font to their realm allowing free travel between the two.

CH 20~ Party Down
Argento’s ninth (eighteenth in earth years) Birthday came and went Thursday, the thirteenth, and he’d already received his father’s gift, if you could call it that. You had to commit a fairly serious infraction to be cut off; the Arch-Baron was keeping up appearances and maintaining his own reputation as much as any sense of love or attachment to Argento with his “gift.”
