The Maid
“You have got to be kidding!” If it had been a different morning, things might have gone a different way, but here she was, once again, taking a pile of abuse from another driver who did not put enough change into the parking meter before heading in to buy something in what looked like a very upscale store. She noted that the woman staring daggers at her had two very large bags in her hands and was driving an SUV. And was this a zone for only handicapped parking? No, that was not under her jurisdiction. She only covered what the city demanded as payment for the privilege of parking.

Café Etiquette
This was inspired by one of my own comments: Take a look at these brain droppings once again, and please note that I have commented on many small details about life that we often ignore. Here, I wrote about how the best cafés serve coffee not worth their particular atmospheres, and many of you were amused by this thought. And I may one day continue with these lines (so much to contain in notebooks).

I saw her photograph when I was a teenager, but it was many years before we met. The Number
Should I even write about this? It is Sunday night - nice touch - and I have planned my lessons for the college. It will mostly be a review of the material we have already covered and I will be preparing them for the exam they have after their spring break. And I have some new online students who will just want to chat and discuss how to improve their English skills. I will have a lot of time to meditate and focus on what this means.

Sarah Cooper Returns!
She's back, folks! It has been at least one month since that individual in that nation to the south took the oath of office and much of the respect and honour earned by other presidents over many years. It has not been the most pleasant time of the year to consider all those jobs lost, the arrests made, the idiotic comments made, and the future plans that will disrupt trade, business, and make life much harder for those of us who thought we could surf above the nonsense we knew was coming our way.
