Alexander Hamilton
Alexander Hamilton’s parents weren’t really married, but they had two boys one named Alexander and one named James. One day Alexander’s father left leaving him, his brother, and his mother alone to survive. Then when Alexander was 12 he and his mother became sick he got better, but his mother died so he and his brother were alone. They stayed with a cousin, but he committed suicide. Alexander looked around for work that he could do. After a hurricane hit the island he lived on he wrote a letter to his father telling him about the hurricane. Somebody read it and put it in a newspaper where everyone could read how he wrote the precise description of what the hurricane was like. Everyone pitched in with money to send him to New York to get some schooling and he arrived in New York ready for his new life.
