Covered in a light grey bark * Standing well over thirty feet tall ** Overflowing with acorns falling to ground *** Squirrels running amok in the branches
The chickens come out Scratch, scratch, eating up all the wheat The children giggle * When the sun comes up Chickens come out from roosting
Dark and mysterious Standing as if in a portal To another dimension Guarding their domain From interlopers Ruffling their pretty
