My wife and I ate dinner at some high-class restaurant in town. There were about fifteen other couples inside, eating as well. Everyone was enjoying their meal and minding their own business. There were just enough workers here tonight to keep things running smoothly. It would be a perfect date night for my wife and me, I remember thinking.

Felicia was walking home from studying at her best friend Bridgitte’s house. It was only 7:30, but it had gotten dark earlier, so it seemed later than it was. She wasn’t used to this later curfew that her parents had given her since she turned 12 and was a little nervous walking the block and a half back to her house.

Gallow's Road. Content Warning.
Strange things happen on Gallow’s Road on Halloween night but throw in a blue moon, and things get monstrously evil quickly. On an average night, people driving along had reported their vehicles dying and a strange tapping on the roof of their cars. But on a blue moon Halloween night, the area locals avoided the road at all costs, and the following day, the locals would find travelers dead, hanging from the trees above their stalled cars.
