Because I Love You five
Running through the woods without shoes or socks wasn't wise. Then again it was better than wasting time trying to find them. Or demand Emmett give him either. That would probably have ended in a lot of questioning from the older man. Stuff that he knew better than to answer honestly. And knowing full well that if he didn't that the older man would have been really upset with him. Then there would be a lot of pain for lying and trying to escape the older man. Which was something that he will be getting if that bastard caught up with him. All of this was stuff that Rhys didn't want to think of at all. What he desperately wanted was just to go back to his apartment.

Because I Love You four
The game itself wasn't too difficult to learn. Just take a card and move the number of spaces on it. Or go to where it says to. Simple. Very simple and a little on the boring side. Rhys didn't really mind it in the slightest bit. It was sort of a welcome distraction from the situation at hand. This wouldn't entirely distract him. He supposed that it was better than doing absolutely nothing.

Because I Love You three
Nearing the room, Emmett insisted Rhys close his eyes. Even going so far as to tell him to put a hand over his eyes. All of which felt over the top in his book. But, it was something that Rhys quickly complied with. Somewhat fearing what would happen if he didn't. Closing his eyes then covering them with his free hand. Still somewhat afraid of what was in store for him. Feeling that it would be something freaky or gross. Chewing the inside of his cheek as the older man walked him into the room. A few seconds later, the older man stated,"Okay, my love. You can put your hand down and open your eyes."

Because I Love You two
The next morning, Rhys woke up to someone gently nudging his stomach. It was a flat hand on him along with lips being pressed to his forehead. Reminding him vaguely how someone would wake him up when he was much younger. For a few seconds, he stayed utterly still on the bed. Not opening his eyes as he tried to understand what exactly was going on. Who was touching him and just what for. Then the person whispered,"Good morning, my love. Time to get up and have some breakfast."

Because I Love You one
The first thing that Rhys was made aware of was the fact he couldn't see. Then the fact that his arms were tied above his head. And his legs were tied to what he guessed were bed posts. There was also a bit of tape over his mouth. He wasn't entirely sure how he ended up like this. Or how it happened. While the young man laid there, he thought over last night in his mind. Last night, he got off work from the gas station around one A.M. Rhys had been biking home wearing his normal gear. A bike helmet, safety vest, and had his normal lights on his bike. He'd been biking down the street for at least ten minutes and then...then...nothing...there was nothing else that he could actually recall. No matter how hard he tried to. His gut twisted as he laid there on what he guessed was a bed. Unsure of why or what he was doing there. Whatever the reason was, he hoped he wouldn't die.

Slumber Six
Avoiding her roommate wasn't easy as she'd hoped. But she had managed it. After a couple of weeks she had a schedule written up. How long she should stay in their shared room and when to leave. As well as nights when her roommate would just be gone. On those nights, she'd spend her time singing and dancing. Thing she'd do to de-stress back home. They made her feel more at peace at the school. Though those times were rare and few between. It seemed that Eleanor took delight in aggravating her. Spending a good portion of her time watching really loud action movies while she tried to sleep. Or playing video games that featured lots of explosions. A few times comming her boyfriend to 'talk'. Bijou wondered if it was bad to wish they'd break up.

Slumber Seven
Thanking him, she turned to leave when he gripped her elbow. Her eyes widened slightly as she turned back to him. His expression was unreadable to her. And she tried to yank her arm back as his grip tightened on her. In a low voice, he said,"You need to be more careful with your things. Not everyone is going to be as kind as I am."

Slumber Eight
Herself? A target? For what? Who'd want to kill some random high school kid? Aside from cheap villains in kid cartoons or YA novels? It didn't really make much sense. And she stared at him for a second. In a low voice, she said,"That sounds like utter crap. There's no way that anyone would send that thing to kill me."

Slumber Five
Bijou didn't need to be psychic to understand that she was bad news. She didn't look friendly, nor did she make an attempt to be. And the way Eleanor spoke to her suggested that she wasn't interested in friends. Still, Bijou tried to be polite and introduced herself. The girl nodded her head slightly as if she wasn't really listening. Then she walked over to her side of the room and plopped down on her bed. She said,"I know you're probably not used to being in a place like this. And were probably hoping to make friends with me."

Slumber Nine
Getting ahold of Bijou's Aunts wasn't as hard as he thought. Telling them everything that happened on the other hand proved to be. Noctifer's connection wasn't as strong as he hoped. And his magic was barely keeping the line open. As they stood around his telecom screen. It flickered now and then as he restarted the link. Once Afua's face filled the screen again, Noctifer gave a sigh of relief. In a relieved tone, he said,"My apologies, Afua. Our signal isn't the best out here. I'm sorry that keeps happening."

Slumber Four
As they neared the city, Bijou started to feel anxious. This place was much bigger than she imagined it would be. And her stomach started twisting in knots all over again. There was no way she'd be able to wander the city. Not even if she wanted to, she'd get lost much too easily. And her hands twisted her shirt as she looked at Onyx. He seemed to be monitoring her reaction and thinking of how to react. Of his own accord, he grabbed her right hand gently and started rubbing it soothingly. In a calm voice, he said,"You'll be alright, Bijou. I promise that I'll be with you all the way."

Slumber Three
The morning of the move to the school was bright, cheery, and warm. It seemed absolutely wonderful. Yet it couldn't lift Bijou's spirits. This wasn't fair. All she did was make friends with someone. How in the world did that warrant her being tossed into some boarding school? It wasn't like she was going out of her way to do something dangerous. All of this didn't seem fair to her. And she had no choice but to go through with it.
