Bio
33, She/Her, a big bi nerd
How do I write a bio that doesn't look like a dating profile? Anyway, my cat is my daughter, I crochet and cross stitch, and I can't ride a bike. Come take a peek in my brain-space, please and thanks.

I Actually Like VOY 2x15 "Threshold"
What's your worst episode of Star Trek? I did my first watch-through of Star Trek: Voyager a year or so ago. I grew up watching reruns of the original series and The Next Generation playing in the living room often. Then I watched Deep Space Nine in adulthood and absolutely loved it. Voyager was a good time, too. I like to check the wiki, Memory Alpha, after every episode for all the trivia, production notes and to find out what people think. (Spoilers for this episode ahead.)

The Mortuary Assistant - Horror Game Review
I love indie horror in every medium. I've played a lot of indie horror games and watched "let's play"s of many more. I'm also an aspiring mortician, sort of. It's complicated. BUT! When a demo for a game titled "The Mortuary Assistant" hit the Internet, my interest was piqued. I expected jump scares, and I expected trauma. I even expected janky animations and dramatic voice acting. What did pleasantly surprise me was how game developer, DarkStone Digital, would use these conventions of the genre to inform every angle of their story.

How To Boil Water
Katie stood on the imagined threshold between the dining room and the kitchen. The border between the two was only in her head, but it was static and undisputed. It was a good place to play. Aunt Maisey said it felt "zen". Today, Katie wanted to stretch out her arms to the counter and the island and hold herself up by her palms like Spider-Man. She wanted to, but experience told her that Mom would, without a doubt, come bustling into the kitchen at that very moment. Mr. Fuzzles, Katie’s bear, said otherwise. “Go on, it’ll only take a few seconds.”

And VRChat Is Disabling Mods... Why?
When I tell someone I love the Internet, what I usually mean is that I love online community. I say it all the time, "my whole life has been online." Most websites' terms of service dictate a user be 13 years old before using the site unmonitored by parents. I know for a fact I was chatting with strangers by age 9. Now, before you jump up and scream about how dangerous that is, yes. I know, but think about it like latchkey kids. Of course there are dangers, but for the social climate of the internet at the time, roaming the web unsupervised was pretty okay.

Contents Of A Wide-Ruled Spiral Notebook
I'm writing this in my dad's car because it's the only place Mom can't get to me, I think. I can see her watching me in the mirrors though. My name is Hunter and I'm 12. I don't know what's going to happen. Whoever reads this, please believe me.
