Down 4-0 this time, the girls still didn’t give in and eventually took a 9-8 lead. But the chase wasn’t over.

John Jay Wins Big Over Eastchester

Two sputtering drives, the girls had the luxury thanks to the defense. “Playing aggressive, putting pressure on the quarterback, forcing errors, that’s what we’ve been doing,” said Head Coach Jimmy Clark. And after Eastchester was the latest to find out, the John Jay offense caught up to the defense for good on possession three.

John Jay can’t beat the Rain or Yorktown in 6-2 Loss

Blake O’Callaghan short hopped Thomas Carney’s sidewinder in the opening seconds, and right back the other way, Dino Rajamani found the net at 10:40. The small crowd up in arms, the cheers unfortunately subsided the rest of the way.

Somers Tennis Loses Close One to Mahopac

Not the case in lacrosse, fortunes fall heavily on the men at midfield, and Matt Mayfield has long known the score in the circle. “It’s you against the other guy,” he said, and by game’s end, the ledger was far from balanced.

Special Olympics at Somers : Everyone Wins

But the real outcome was not on the scoreboard, according to one spectator.

The John Jay High School Theater Workshop brings 42nd Street to Lewisboro
Please see tip, pledge and subscribe buttons or my venmo is @Rich-Monetti Slideshow 42nd Street first premiered in 1932 and tells the iconic story of a small town girl who makes it big under the bright lights. “This is as old school Broadway as you can get,” said Anne-Marie Gerard Galler. So a time warp is probably the only way we could see the production now. But thanks to the John Jay High School Theater Workshop the space time continuum does not need to be manipulated and neither does the MetroNorth ticket machine.

Ryan Ball Has Many Thanks After Taking Sixth in the States

Success by any measure, the junior’s motivation for the two day affair was partly driven by failure and a defining photo.
