Vivaldi's Four Seasons
The Four Seasons Antonio Vivaldi's, Four Seasons/Quattro Stagioni, featuring virtuoso violinist, Janine Jansen, performed during the International Kamermuziek Festival exemplifies the composer's desire to musically express each season of the year. Vivaldi composed this piece following the traditional components of a concerto. Vivaldi composed four concertos with three movements each with one or more solo instruments accompanied by an orchestra. Each concerto represents one of the four seasons of the year: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.

Recording Music in Ukraine
British composer, Ralph Vaughn Williams created his Symphony No. 6 in E minor while bombs were falling on London during World War II. In the United States, WWII was a very popular war, most everyone was on-board. U.S. citizens were told this war would end all wars, it would be humanity's last descent into barbarism. That did not turn out so well. That was propaganda and self-deception. We have had many more wars, and added several million more dead bodies to the pile of 40+ million dead bodies of WWII. The reptiles in charge did not seem to notice or care.

Classical Gas Bags
As a kid classical music was never pushed at home, the nearest we got was probably Mantovani or the sort of elevator music you would expect to hear at “Abigail’s Party”. When I got to secondary school the possibility of me ever appreciating any classical music was well and truly dashed to the ground.

Sorry Music That I haven’t Been Nicer To You — You’re More Than Worth It
I took my bike, and I put my violin on my back. I also put my music stand in the basket of my bike. I was a little bit nervous when I closed the gate of the garden. Somehow I felt like having butterflies in my belly. I started smiling when I closed the door of my garden. I was beyond excited to play the violin with others again. I stayed smiling during the first part of my cycling trip to the outbuilding of the church.
