Discovering My Love For Piano
Music is the centerfold of my family. I definitely got my abilities from my mom, but my dad played the part of being the biggest supporter. He’s shown up to every halftime show, concert, performance- you name it. All three of us kids were involved in every single band activity possible, me and my two older sisters.

Ultimate National Park Playlists
This year, much of my free time has been spent obsessively planning a month-long road trip for myself and my closest friend. Both of us are at the quintessential part of our 20’s where if we don’t take the time to drop everything and explore, we won’t ever commit to it again. With pressure to build our careers, and grad school looming over the horizon, we are taking the time to make the most of this beautifully, chaotic period of growth in our lives.

Aaliyah & Left Eye
Aaliyah Haughton and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez, Two iconic music legends that left us far too soon in the 2000s. During the 90s, Aaliyah was destined to be R &B's next best thing. Though Lisa was in the girl group TLC, she was destined to make it as a solo rap artist. The two women were at the heights of the careers until the 2000s their lives were taken from unfortunate accidents.

Flower Boy Signaled A New Era for Tyler, The Creator
Flower Boy officially signaled the bloom of Tyler, The Creator as an artist. Being entirely produced by Tyler himself, the album feels deeply personal as we travel through the emotions of a lonely artist. Admittedly, I took me a while to warm up to this album. Upon my first listen on its release in 2017, I was shocked by how different this version of Tyler was, compared to the one I used to listen to on his infamous Goblin and Bastard albums. The once abrasive, and almost offensive, rapper had changed — and perhaps, for the better.

Nothing Was The Same
As we wait for the overdue arrival of Certified Lover Boy from Drake, I will be highlighting some of the discography of the greatest artist of my lifetime, starting with Nothing Was the Same. Many consider this album to be the best of Drake’s discography, and they have a point. While it isn’t my persona l favorite, I can certainly understand the critical acclaim. This album is the height of both the singing and rapping Drake.

25 Greatest Songs of David Bowie
25. Starman (1972) Parent Album: The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars Leave it to David Bowie to come up with the 12 word album title "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars." But here's the deal when you come up with an album as great as "Ziggy Stardust..." you can be as elaborate as you want with the title. For that matter you can do almost anything you want... wear bright red patent leather platform boots and adorn your face with extravagant makeup so that you look like you're a visitor from another planet... hmmm maybe Mars. Ziggy Stardust was the Starman who's look was somewhat androgynous with a tilt to the masculine.

Abel Tesfaye: The Legend of “The Weeknd”
The mysticity in which The Weeknd operates shrouds his undying stardom in pop culture. The melancholic persona that he portrays (pictured above) adds to the allure and mystery of one of the biggest stars in the last 10 years. By demystifying this character, we can see just how prominent his rise to stardom has been. From here, we dive into the life of the self-dubbed “King of the Fall”.

The Mastering Process and a Memberful Start
In light of this last year, there has never been a more fertile time than now to become self employed. Coming from a 9-5 that was hit hard by the pandemic I have taken this opportunity to master my potential by means of disciplining how I spend my time. I can say from this unemployed stance that the human state is to work towards and receive personal fulfillment. I see friends and family following suit opening drop shipping businesses, podcast channels, and manipulating passions in the creative arts in hopes of establishing a concrete self sourced income. I see smiles on their faces from doing what they have made for themselves. Nothing is more satisfying than finding the joy in ones occupation. I myself am taking this route by releasing my own music. I have always been “that kid in the neighborhood with a band” to the “audio engineer down the street” and now Radio Skinny the music artist. While on this path I discovered there is more I want to do with my audio based talents. And through Memberful I can accomplish more than a just steady start in this blossoming business venture of mine.
