Gel Polish You Can Do Yourself... Yes, You!
I love nail polish. I love the bright colours, the jewels, the nail art. I used to spend hundreds, maybe even close to a thousand dollars a year going to the salon every two weeks to get an acrylic fill and polish. That all stopped when, at my last appointment while removing my polish, you could clear as day see green under my acrylic nail. I was mortified! I asked what was going on and was promptly told, "Oh it's okay, just a small fungus. It will go away." WHAT?!?!?! JUST a small FUNGUS?!?! Nope! I promptly had my acrylic nails removed and that was that.

Acrylics: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
My journey with acrylics has definitely been a bag of mixed feels. So let me start from the beginning. About a month or two ago, let’s just say I watched a lot of Kardashian episodes and I think Khloe’s acryls are pretty rad. And I figured, well she types on her laptop and uses her phone ALL the time, so why can’t I get the same kitty claws and still be functional? Right?

4 Nail Art Designs That Literally Anyone Can Do
I’m the kind of person who always has their nails done. I never pay for manicures, and I constantly have people ask me how I got my nails to look so great! But my big secret is, while I’m great at painting my nails basic colours, I’m actually terrible at nail art. You wouldn’t know it, because I’m often rocking a nice gradient (my favourite, because they’re SO easy), or some other basic style. Here are five nail art designs that you can do if you’ve never picked up a striping brush in your life.
