The Ink of the Void
The rain in Glenhaven didn’t just fall; it wept. It was a thick, shimmering precipitation that tasted faintly of ozone and old regrets. I watched it from my office window, the neon sign of the Wyvern’s Tail Tavern across the street flickering in a rhythmic, sickly purple. Every time the light hit a puddle, it sent a ripple of violet through the grime of the street. It was the kind of city where even the puddles felt like they were hiding something.

Chapter ? - Charles (Anne)
There it was. He was trembling with fear at what he might find inside. The sun was beginning to set, and he didn’t see the telltale glow of candles in any of the windows — but then again, if they were smart, there wouldn’t be. And he knew without a doubt that Anne was smart. The latter of which was connected to his arm via the thinnest tube.

Who's the real Monster?
~ Matt's POV No. It can't be. Z...They can't be dead. Ed unleashed a gut wrenching sorrowful roar. Pain gripped my heart as a saying mum would say came to mind 'In the shelter of each other, people survive'. If only I had tears to shed in this moment.
