FIFA World Cup every two years will destroy football
FIFA executives and some other important football people will this month consider the possibility of playing FIFA football world cup every two years. That should not happen. However, you put it. In any case. Otherwise, football will be dead or nicely put, as a transparent once said, "stolen by the rich".

A World Cup with no 'Rights'
Let's start with how Qatar, a country with less than 3 million population, landed the most prestigious event of the sport with 3.5 billion fans (estimated) all over the world. The world cup host is elected by the FIFA Executive Committee. The hosts of 2018 and 2022 World Cup were decided together in 2011. So, how did Qatar beat other nominees such as England, the USA and Australia, each of which is a much better footballing nation?

Racial Abuse at World Cup Qualifier Points to Deeper Societal Problems
Nobody likes a rerun, but this rerun was particularly hard to watch. Racism is the last refuge of witless morons — and sociopaths — but there was something especially disheartening about witnessing black players for England’s national team being booed, jeered and having monkey chants directed at them in last week’s World Cup qualifying game in Budapest, Hungary. The thrown bottles came later, as did the live fireworks tossed onto the pitch during one England goal celebration.

Why Soccer Fans Misbehave
In Denver, they found the person who threw the frozen bottle of water that hit an American player in the head. He has been permanently banned from attending any event at the Broncos stadium. I feel that is justifiable. During this match the referee had to stop the game for three minutes because the Mexican fans were chanting a homophobic phrase. But why is this still happening in 2021? Because of the behavior of the fans from Mexico, they have to play their next two World Cup qualifiers at home in an empty stadium. The fans that do behave at the matches are suffering for the actions of the unruly.

Soccer Gods Have Mercy!!
I grew up in India for a few years before moving to Canada in 1995. I remember from my years in India that people love the sport of soccer. It is quite popular but less popular than the national pastime cricket. India has never qualified for a FIFA World Cup Championship yet. My prayer to the soccer gods is “Soccer Gods Have Mercy!! India should be able to qualify for the World Cup at least once in the coming few years!!”

USA vs Canada
Going into Saturday’s matchup both teams knew that the outcome would be a statement to all of the progress one nation or the other has made going into the final stages of World Cup Qualifying. The choice to play such a highly important match at 4pm local time in Kansas City is questionable at best. Especially considering the temperature was predicted by to be 85F and humid. Some like myself might of thought it would be better to push it back till 7pm when the heat would play less of a factor but that’s just the way of things.

Playing against the best teams would help in preparation for the T20 World Cup - Misbah
With the T20 World Cup on the horizon, Pakistan's head coach Misbah-ul-Haq said that playing against top T20I teams like England and the West Indies would help the team in terms of its preparation for the event. Pakistan is scheduled to play three and five T20Is against England and the West Indies, respectively, in July and August.

I was so excited to get a ticket for the football game, also known as soccer, between Liverpool, the team I had loved since I was four or six, and some other team that I frankly do not even care to remember. It may have been an Italian team since the game was in Rome, the 1976-77 European Cup. No! I googled it. It was against Borussia Mönchengladbach, a German team. No wonder I forgot them. I only remember World War Two when it comes to anything German in the 20th century, and World War One was not a ball in the park either. I remember the game as if it happened the day before, but luckily I do not remember the war, both of them, since I was not even born. Lucky me, I suppose.
