Embarrassment
A Night on Newport
Vinnie’s on 34th It was July 4th in Newport Beach, what possibly could go awry? Vince was living on 34th street on the bottom apartment of a duplex. He had purchased a keg and invited mostly girls. Matt and I were down early helping Vinnie get ready and he tapped the keg about noon. I swore I wouldn’t have a beer before five, but I lied to myself.

The Last Dance
The Last Dance So to continue my segment in embarrassing moments, there may have been a few, and one that comes to mind was when I was still married to Patty and the two of us, her five siblings, and their mates at the time, all went to a bar down in San Diego. (I’m starting to think I drink a lot or at least did, but God blesses me with hangovers so that helps)

Surrender:
Recently, I have been growing up. By growing up I mean building up my self-control. I have been listening to audiobooks, investing in bitcoin, becoming a vegetarian, going to the gym consistently, and so on. But somewhere along the internet of things I read that fasting was the best way to increase and accomplish this goal of ultimate self-governance. The idea being if you could deny yourself one of the most primal necessities of being a human such as food; you could easily deny yourself any other fickle desires that may come up. I never would have imagined that embarking upon this spiritual journey of denying my flesh would end up with me, a 27-year-old fully grown man, to lose all control and pee on himself.

That was smooth
It was my first year in college and I was as equally nervous as I was excited. It was a fresh start and new way to reinvent myself from the person I was in high school. I didn't have many friends and I was heavily introverted. My parents were shocked when I told them that I would me majoring in Theatre. "So you'll be backstage helping with costumes?" they asked. "Well...no...I want to act." Mind you, I had never acted a day in my life because I was so shy. But it was somehow something that I was passionate about and decided to go for it. My first class was a theater and design class. We did the basic introduction of who we were and presented images that we liked. That class would be the beginning of many friendships...and a future relationship. But we'll get to that point soon.

Oops!
I wish I could say this incident only happened once in my life, but unfortunately there's been many times I've walked into the wrong bathroom in a public place. I think the big question is, which one is worse: A woman walking into a men's bathroom? Or is it a man walking into a woman's bathroom?

Breaking The Seal
I’m almost positive that we have all experienced some embarrassing moments in our lives. Those instances that make us cringe so we deliberately filed them away into a mental cabinet which we have purposefully kept under lock and key. The hope is that with time, we may be able to reopen some files and laugh at some of these circumstances or we can just keep them locked up and never think about them again.

Fall of Shame
My entire life can be described as a series of fractured fairy tales that are strung together by stand upon strand of unconventional pearls of wisdom. These unique, opaque orbs are a collection of life lessons that one would never expect to learn in the ways I fatefully did. Some of them are true tragedies that resulted in profound learning experiences that I wish I could have avoided all together. Others are so bizarre and comical that they take people off guard by their sheer ridiculousness. Then I have the jagged little barbs that fill the spaces in between. These are strictly mortifying events that taught me nothing, except how to pray to god that they would never happen again.

I'm not him
I was just 18,we all remember what that was like. I had met this girl at a party. We all know that feeling, when you see someone and your thinking wow, I could spend the rest of my life with them. This might just be that person that I marry. It's like the whole world just disappears and all you can see is them. I know we all have those very special moments, that moment you think you're going to remember it forever, so you can tell your children, and grandchildren about that first time you met their Mom, Dad, Grandmother or Grandpa. That moment when your heart is filled with so much Love, you feel like your walking on clouds. I think we can all remember those moments. That very first time we fall in Love, the first kiss or your first time. You couldn't eat or sleep they were all you thought about. Thinking about them still today, takes you right back to that moment. When your heart was filled with Passion and Desire.
