He is My Safe Person
I’ve been labeled before as “the girl who has to bring her man with her wherever she goes”. Or “the girl who can’t be without her man.” But that’s not the case at all. I have anxiety, and my man is my safe person. He is my safe place.

My Pro-life Mother, Her Dog and their Abortion
In light of the fall of Roe V. Wade, which we can only hope is a brief tangent into fascism, I am reminded of my upbringing. My family lived in the deep South, we were raised hard-right Republicans, and my mother in particular was viciously, unyieldingly pro-life. She raised us on all the anti-choice rhetoric. Taught my brothers and I that life begins at conception and that there is no greater sin than to kill what hasn't even been born. That women who got pregnant needed to take responsibility for their actions and bear the child to term. That pregnancy was a natural part of life, and complications rare. That the very worst and most unforgivable abortions were in the third-term, which ripped apart babies that were just weeks or even days from being born.

Dating A Married Man Didn't Bring Me Happiness
When I realized that I was becoming heavily entrenched in a relationship with a married man, I created certain ideas in my head about how being with a married person could be and how it could actually be a positive choice.

Seductive Diagnosis
Carissa never felt loved, she went from different guy's to various girls. Looking for some sort of excitement. She enjoyed rough intimate sex, the moment two strangers grasped each other. The passionate sex, bloody scratches on his back. It never seems to last. It's fun for the first few fucks but it gets old. The same pointless conversation's boring stories, she wants hot sex no strings attached. Just starting her new job in the medical field, she was anxious as to how she would fit in. It wasn't even four hours on the job and she was being hit on by one of the only straight men working third shift.

Dear Mama,
Dear Mama, I want you to know that I love being the “cool aunt”; I wouldn’t trade being able to play with my nieces and nephews without the responsibilities of bedtimes, diapers, and getting up early to make lunches. I love my marriage of almost 11 years and wouldn’t trade the freedom we have to travel, stay out late, and pursue the careers of our dreams. But I must confess, I struggle with my identity one day a year. That’s on Mother’s Day when everyone I see wishes me a “Happy Mother’s Day.” I just smile and say “thank you” as my heart breaks inside.

I have an opinion of food, smell, absolute turn-ons…
There are many whys and wherefores of what can be considered an object of obsession… affection… lust…This world harbors their children and disperses them unto the young adults and old crooked men. This society can be perceived as a very touchy subject to talk about. Many will hide as it is forbidden to even speak of such that wanders in our imagination every single day. I guess it is because of the embarrassment that is produced by brevities of the unknown. Meaning that if we die, what then was the use of concealing our weaknesses and the temptations that lie deep in the bottom of our hearts which never rests. Would they be meaningful or meaningless? What prospects do they offer? Not a soul on this planet has the answer to this question. Everyone is on the verge of going crazy. Some are successful in breaking and others are not. They cannot deal with themselves, they pivot, trying their very best to avoid all the doors that lead to it. Claiming they know themselves but instead, they fall right in the grave they just dug for temptation. Is it good to lie to myself or better to lie to the person next to me? Like seriously if we are going to be all that we want to be or to have… Why not do it with style? I’m too busy being afraid of myself watching my every move for your peace and happiness.

Do We Really Have A Pre-determined Destiny?
According to a psychology article, our genes and circumstances shape our destiny. These are the two things that are beyond our control. If you were to dig further, you may ask who gives us the ‘genes’ and our ‘circumstances’? To me, it’s our Creator that has different names for different people depending on their religions.
