Amongst wolves THE LONE PATH What now? Tyesha whispers to her friend Dottie, whos hands are burried in her face from sobbing all morning. "I dont know, I dont have a solid plan, I just know I have to make some money fast." Dottie wipes her face walks towards the mirror and cleans herself off, as she straightens out her clothes and realigns her posture, she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, Tyesha stares at her best friend of over 10 years and is looking at the strongest girl she knows, now beaten by life and defeated. "We're going to get your JJ back, I promise." Dottie opens her eyes and stares at her best friend through the mirror, and whispers back "I know."

I’m Hit!
I can't remember the exact year but I believe it was the winter of '93, but it was freezing out and Philadelphia had ice storms for about two to three weeks. Black ice was everywhere. White ice, too. All the ices. The roads and pavements were sheets of slippery sludge and frozen ground. The street had been salted so they were passable but most of the pavements were like skating rinks still.

SHORT STORY
The next couple of days were a little awkward between the married couple. Every day Jessica came home to a big surprise, one greater than the other. It went from a bouquet of long-stemmed red roses to a diamond tennis bracelet and matching earrings, to a beautiful black and teal cocktail dress with heels to match. On the final day, a note saying, Get dressed, a car will be there in 2 hours, Love Jordan. Smiling to herself, Jessica went upstairs, got dressed for an evening with Jordan. Tonight she will put away her bad feeling for La'Janice and let her husband apologize.
