Thunder boomed and snarled like a monster all around them as the lightning lit the sky in an angry display of natural wonder. Alex and Lisa ran toward the opening of the large, tall, wooden, banquet-hall building, nearly running into the large double doors under the canopy top. Almost instantly, the water began to pour off the top and cascade all around them, splashing their shoes as well as the concrete slab beneath their feet. I was around 35 when I started to see frequent anonymous posts in the momās groups that sounded likeā¦ āMy husband has checked out of how he looks and I am struggling. The weight in his belly and stamina loss also changed our sex life. He has a lot of back issues, gets winded easily and heās started to slouch over from desk work I guess. Since he started working from home heās also mostly in old t-shirts and cargo shorts. Sometimes I throw them out because the arm pits are stained. Heās lost his hair, which I think he feels bad about so heās not really been open to going to a better hair dresser and he started avoiding getting his hair cut. What I feel so guilty about is that I notice myself checking out the men at work who dress well and work out some. I knew we would age. I know all men go bald at some point. I guess I didnāt think 40 would look like this for him ā it feels like he has quit.
