Loss of an Heirloom
Hey deadbeat, You haven’t paid your rent in five months, so I came into the apartment I own and took that stupid heart-shaped locket you’re always wearing! Come to my home and pay your rent before 5:30pm today, or I’ll melt it down into heart-shaped goo!

I. Fade in. The scene is what looks like a typical college campus, with the usual array of buildings constructed with only the thought of what they were going to be used for- not how they looked like- in mind, with the presence of marigolds around to create a vague semblance of summer for the early fall. It’s evening, so most of the buildings have their lights off, as a sign that they’re not being used.

Strange Honey
I meet Yanni at an old laundromat amongst a forgotten shopping strip. There she is sitting atop a stainless steel bench, wearing loose fitting black jeans and a vintage bomber jacket from some old video store. Her dark hair with shaved bits on the side is shorter than last time I saw her, I couldn't recall when that was. It’s hard to tell if she sees me as a friend or another face in the crowd, either way I’m glad she got in touch.

The Mythical Prince
The Mythical Prince By D.C. McDougal, GED He stood in his room, naked, as if it were The Garden of Eden. While having no clothes, he of course had no pockets, but that wouldn’t stop a legend like him! He reached into that non-existing pocket and found twenty thousand dollars. “Amazing!” he thought, “I must have left this in here the last time I wore nothing.”

Pay-Pierre
The sun laid its’ last rays down upon the city as the sky shifted from bright blue to glowing orange. The group walked, turning corners and crossing streets until they arrived at a five-story building with many windows. The building was not only home to their living quarters, but also the Atelier for the Alliance of Species. Here, they parted ways and walked inside towards their respective earthly homes. Evening shifted to night. The night turned to early morning. Before the long rays of the morning sun peeked through the horizon, the Atelier on the fifth-floor was bustling with activity.
