Dystopian Science Fiction Authors You Must Read
In it's traditional definition, a dystopia illustrates a reality much worse than our own. Dystopian science fiction generally features an oppressive and totalitarian society where political, corporate, technological or religious forces reign supreme while everyone lives under the guise that everything is damn near perfect. But in a very messed-up kind of way, a lot of the ideas mentioned in dystopian fiction are actually pretty decent propositions (like the abandonment of religion and the redistribution of national borders). So as you read through this compilation of some of the best dystopian science fiction authors, take in all the negativity with a grain of salt and think about how some of these ideas can actually be implemented without the treacherous apocalyptic consequences.

4 Bizarre 'House' Diseases that Actually Exist
If you have never seen an episode of House M.D., then you are missing true TV brilliance. House M.D. has incredible writing and acting and is worth watching just for Hugh Laurie's portrayal of Dr. House. The one criticism I always hear about House M.D. is how unrealistic it is. Virtually every episode ends with House figuring out what rare disease is killing his patient. House only deals with rare diseases and in the first episode his employee, Dr. Foreman, says "first year of medical school: If you hear hoofbeats, you think horses, not zebras." What separates House from other doctors is that he only deals with Zebras, all his cases have some element that makes them unique. The problem with having 177 unique diseases is that sometimes you need to stretch the truth a little. However, sometimes even the craziest illnesses are 100% real and here are some of the weirdest ones.

Best 'Star Wars' Han Solo And Chewbacca Books
Every Star Wars fan knows the famous duo of Han Solo and Chewbacca well. While Han Solo was a human smuggler known for being a member of the Rebel Alliance and later the New Republic, he originates from the planet Corellia where he was orphaned at an early age. Taken by the pirate Garris Shrike to serve with his crew, Han was treated cruelly, which is the main reason he became a smuggler. After entering the Imperial Academy at Carida where he served with distinction, his life changed when he refused to beat a Wookiee named Chewbacca with a neuronic whip and the two eventually fled from the imperials together.
