International Youth Day is an annual observance observed so as to highlight the problems faced by youth globally concerned with their growth. And suitable ways are thus taken out so that the problems can either be wiped out or minimized so as to comfort the youth. Because the development of the nation is directly proportional to the development of the youths, hence investing in youth can be a fair deal any day. But the investment should not be blind because only and only after providing an appropriate Way of Living one can guarantee results which are hard to imagine otherwise.

“His nickname was the Bronx Bull or Raging Bull. His real name was Giacobbe “Jake” LaMotta.” I didn’t see the movie based on his real-life experience as a boxer and a stand-up comedian. I also didn’t read his autobiography. He lived 95 years and died in 2017. Not that many years ago. “He fought 199 times for 174 wins (109 by KO), 19 losses (1 by KO), and 6 draws between 1940 and 1965, with a break between June 1952 and January 1955, years he dedicated to the festive atmosphere of show business.”

Too many authors and not enough natural born writers
I began to realize I was a natural-born writer at the age of 12. A good friend and I would share stories about horses in our seventh-grade history class. I began writing detail in diaries at age 14. I amazed my cousins when I was 16 by composing a fake letter to a pretend boyfriend using the titles of the many soap opera’s that were on television at the time. Fast-forwarding I wrote for a local newspaper from 1999-2009. During that time many people asked when I was going to write a book.

You might be a blunderbuss
Blunderbus definition When I was a child, my grandmother occasionally utilized a word that I never heard anyone else speak. This morning that idiom “ blunderbuss" came to mind. Grandma would call me or my brothers a blunderbuss if we were having a day where things went wrong. If we dropped a glass and it broke or knocked over some books or spilled a drink she would call us a blunderbuss. I took for granted it meant we were clumsy or all thumbs as people said back in those days.

The Road to Decriminalisation
In 1969, South Australia became the first state to legalise medical termination of pregnancy. In the 50 years following, South Australia’s abortion laws have not been altered. This changed on the 2nd of March 2021 at 2am, when the Termination of Pregnancy Act passed in the South Australian Parliament’s Legislative Council with 29 in favour and 15 against. This marked the end of a decades long debate and stalemate on abortion care in South Australia.
