What Happened to Covert Movement?
Tarkov’s combat systems are engaging and complex enough that there is a plethora of ways to interact with them. This goes for both fighting AI enemies, as well as other players who pose more of a threat in general. You can run in head first, and just shoot whatever you see. If it moves, you kill it. A very powerful and viable way to play. You can try engage with range, or from different defensive positions; the list is sizeable. But one way to play Tarkov that has changed over the years, is playing sneaky. Sneaky Tarkov can be extremely gratifying when executed correctly. There are many different angles to it; being in the right place at the right time, having an angle or an opportunity that you can recognize quickly and capitalize on, and the ability to not freak out if there are a lot of footsteps around you making all kinds of noise and you feel overwhelmed. Playing sneaky, at least for me personally, always gets my heart racing more than just running around. Because that buildup of anticipation; knowing that depending on how you handle it, you may kill a juiced-out player, or mess it up and lose your opportunity at some free loot.

Night Vision is better than ever in Tarkov
Night raids are something honestly kind of special in Tarkov. There aren’t a lot of first-person shooters out there, that focus mainly on gameplay and shooting guns, and can simultaneously be a horror game at the same time. It’s funny, because a ton of people I know, myself included call Tarkov an unintentional horror game. Which is true! This game has many different kinds of moments where you will get scared for one reason or another. But most of them, will occur during the nighttime and night raids. Or, at the very least, areas that are way too dark for you to reasonably see anything in front of you, unless you have some form of illumination. I advocated a while ago that we need to engage with night raids more often in Tarkov; it’s a chance to play the game in a completely different style and pace. I love doing night factory raids; going in with nothing but a light armor and pistol and just killing some scavs for some time. I don’t normally wear NVG’s because of Factory’s expansion brought a lot more lights into the map so they’re not as necessary, but they can be still useful if you shoot out all the lights. Of course, the NODs are more useful on the outdoors maps. There are four different types of night vision you can purchase or find in the world.

The Pros and Cons of Late Game Tarkov
Tarkov has a lot of different ebbs and flows that circulate the game’s life cycle in regards to time since the last wipe. Everyone loves the early game; we all are reset back to level 1, with shitty weapons and ammo. Fights feel really organic and important because the early game tasks can be brutal if you aren’t able to get them accomplished in a timely manner. Hideout upgrades are costly both in rubles and materials; and you can only carry so many in your secured container, so losing those hurts just as much as a quest item. We can all agree that early game is fun and the real way BSG wants us to engage with Tarkov. They have put many different measures in to extend that late game feeling, and it has worked in spades. But, like everything, overtime we work our way out the early game and creep into the late game. Even though we are right around the 60-day mark for this wipe, we are seeing levels in the high 30’s for a decent chunk of players. Of course, not everyone is there, but every wipe it feels like we all learn and level up just a little faster, despite their efforts to slow us down. Just player efficiency I suppose. Either way, Late game Tarkov can and still is fun. Well, sometimes. Other times it’s just infuriating for one reason or another. But it’s not always bad all the time. So, I’d like to take today and explain some pros and cons that come with late game Tarkov. Everyone’s milage will vary with what they enjoy about players being a higher level and running around with more expensive and powerful gear. So, if you agree or disagree with any of my bullet points, please sound off in the comments. I’d like to hear the consensus of others who enjoy this game for their own reasons.

My Top 3 Elden Ring Boss Fights (SPOILERS)
Elden Ring is a game that has no shortage of boss fights with about 120 bosses in the whole game! Most of them are not required to complete the main story but if you want to get certain weapons, spells, remembrances, and other gear then it is recommended that you fight them. Some of the bosses are great, they are fast-paced, they are challenging, and knowing the backstory of the boss really does just get your blood pumping. So the way I am going to judge the boss fights are by: 1) how challenging it was, 2) how dynamic the fight was, and 3) the portrayal of each boss. Of course, this is just my opinion and not universal. That being said let's hop right into the list with my Top 3 Elden Ring Boss Fights.

Tarkov's Sniper Skill Should Level up Easier
Soft skills are really interesting in Tarkov. They provide a large variety of benefits for your PMC, whether that is more stamina, strength, perception, and alongside physical skills, there are plenty of skills related to mechanics and weapons. Every class of weapons has an associated soft skill that provides benefits when handling the weapon. But out of all the weapons to level up, bolt-action snipers are by far the worst to level up in the game.

The Paladin Spymaster
A figure slipped down the alleyways of Low Town, doubling back two and sometimes three times to make sure they weren't being followed before continuing on deeper into the crooked, leaning alleys. Rats scurried through midden heaps, and they passed occasional bodies sprawled in the garbage. Drunk or dead, the figure didn't pause to check as they made their way into the maze.
