Review of Stranger Things 2
I found Stranger Things 2 bigger and better than 1. 1. More science, less metaphysics in 2 than 1. For me, this makes the horror impact of the story even stronger. Will is infected by a kind of virus from the other dimension. That means there's a logical way to fight it — in this case, heat. And this in turn means our heroes have a logical chance of winning, in addition to the supernatural, supra-physical, which also plays a major role, in the person of Eleven, AKA Jane.

Life Isn't So Bad Compared To Those On 'Shameless'
First of all let me state that I really didn't think I was going to like this show based off what I knew, which was that it was about a deadbeat, alcoholic father with a bunch of kids and that was it. I finally gave it a chance and it took watching the first two episodes and one shocking scene that got me hooked. I have now spent the past two weeks watching Shameless every day after I get home from work.

Coolest Gifts for Netflix Lovers
Netflix is magical. It's the perfect date night for a shoestring budget, has amazing shows ready at a moment's notice, and also has basically become the middle finger Comcast so desperately needed to have. We all love Netflix, and for good reason.

Why the Graphic Depictions of Bullying in '13 Reasons Why' Are Necessary for Viewers
If you managed to make it through the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why, then you're no doubt a little shaken up. After all, it's a show about a girl who leaves cassette tapes behind to tell those whom she feels are responsible for her suicide why she did it. The subject matter alone is a powerful thing, and many people who read the 2007 novel by Jay Asher wondered how Netflix would visually represent the story.

I Didn't Like 'Stranger Things.'
I like to think I have good taste, and especially good sci-fi taste. So maybe I can't watch the tribble episode of the original Star Trek, but really...who can? I count to my credit having seen and enjoyed everything Star Wars has ever put out (including the holiday special and the really corny Ewok movie...though maybe I shouldn't tell you that if I want you to appreciate my taste level) and all of the modern Doctor Who episodes. And though I was bred to be a Star Wars fan, I have even dabbled my way into the Star Trek world and have been devouring Voyager on Netflix.

I Am Also a We
Have you ever met someone and right off the bat felt such an immediate and deep connection to them as if you'd known them your entire life, as if you were sharing the same thoughts, the same feelings? Could it be that you knew the person in a past life or could it be that you're both tapping into the collective unconscious, famed Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung's concept of a universal unconsciousness shared by all humans? He posited that beneath our individualistic unconscious, there exists a universal unconsciousness based on shared human concepts. Might this explain how people from different corners of the world and walks of life can experience a collective longing for the same things at the same time?

Best Netflix Cooking Shows
Get ready to binge. It's always a tedious process navigating the Netflix home page in search of a show worth indulging into. Fortunately, if you weave through the many duds, you'll stumble upon some diamonds in the rough. This is especially true for the plethora of cooking shows that the streaming platform has to offer.
