Invented Original Characters: Moth Vampires
Growing up my dream job was to be a comic book artist/writer. But with very little artistic talent that dream died pretty quickly. Now I do my best to bring my characters to life using apps like factory of heroes, swordmaker, armormaker, you doodle and photo cutout. They don't always turn out looking very good but I get more excited about the concepts and stories behind the characters than how well I can make the character look good. Sometimes my characters are from cultures I am not a part of because I think it fits their story or other aspects about them. I am not a cultural expert but at the very least I hope no one is upset by me using aspects of cultures I'm not a part of and find interesting. That said below is my idea for Moth themed vampires.

Shadow In Sonic Racing Animation
I will be discussing the trailer for Sonic Racing Cross Worlds, so spoilers ahead. The idea of Shadow beating Sonic in the racing game was a great idea. I know the game is named after the protagonist, and Sonic is known as the fastest thing alive. But the fact that Shadow won makes perfect sense. Because, if you recall, in both the film and video game, Shadow always has his own way of getting from place to place, either by running thanks to his air shoes or a motorcycle, also known as the Dark Rider, or in this case, a custom-made racing car. Shadow has some disadvantages in speed because, according to gaming lore, Shadow is a genetically engineered bio-merge hedgehog, thanks to the engineering of Dr. Eggman (also known as Gerold Robotnik) and the DNA of Black Doom, who is Shadow's biological father. Talk about an awkward Father's Day. However, Shadow has to limit his energy, unlike Sonic, who has unlimited energy, and Sonic was born alive. Shadow was not, in fact, he doesn't even have a mom, unless you count a test tube, which sounds messed up.

Superman Volume 4: Psi-War
Superman has saved the world so many times that it’s practically de rigueur for the Red and Blue Son of Krypton to come to our defense when, say, Brainiac comes flying down with his tentacled horrors to try and shrink Metropolis the same way he did Kandor — which, apparently, Superman keeps under a bell jar in the Fortress of Solitude. (Which, by the way, the U.S. government wants to send inspectors into, just to make sure Supes isn’t secretly stockpiling weapons. Superman pleads the Fifth, but maybe he is stockpiling something. Although, beyond Martha Kent’s Dutch apple pie, I can’t imagine what.)

To think--it all started wit a childhood birthday gift. That's all it took for me to become a lifelong fan of Archie Comics. I've been reading Archie Comics in some form for 33 years. Comic books, digests, double digests, subscribing, buying old ones from friends, and yes, online. I pretty much know the odds and ends of Archie Comics, from the stories to the TV adaptations--one of the most notable ones being the Riverdale series that aired for seven seasons on The CW.
