Spider-Man Is #TeamIronMan — But Will He Stay That Way?
I've finally had time to fully digest the news that SPIDER-MAN HAS BEEN REVEALED!!!! *ahem* Sorry about that. Just as I had made peace with the fact that he wasn't going to show up in the trailers at all, he finally appeared. After eight years, the moment we all wanted came: Marvel's flagship hero has finally been introduced in the MCU. I had goosebumps all the way through the Captain America: Civil War trailer and my favorite arachnid-themed superhero's appearance was the icing on the cake. We all knew he was going to appear, I just expected to have to wait until I saw the film.

'Agent Carter' Season 2 Overview
This post will contain SPOILERS for Agent Carter Season 2 that you may prefer to avoid. Last year I wrote an overview of Agent Carter Season 1 and the time has come again for me to look back upon the series. I've already said it, but just so you can't shout at me there is a good chance that spoilers will occur. So if you're in the UK and haven't seen it yet, you'd best click elsewhere for now (though come back once you've seen it all).

Still No Spider Man in the 'Civil War' Trailers! But That's OK!
Apparently, a rather large sporting event took place in America recently. It involved some sort of Superb Owl and a load of dudes in helmets. I am not a big fan of American "Football" (seriously, why is it even called football?) but I digress. During the (many) ad breaks that take place throughout the Super Bowl, there are often trailers for upcoming films or special adverts made specially for this ad break. Because of the HUGE audience, these are some of the most sought after (read: expensive) advertising slots in television, and as such people put a lot of effort into them.

Black Widow, Jessica Jones & Peggy Carter: Why the MCU Is for Everyone!
I've seen a lot of posts online criticizing Marvel for their lack of strong female characters in the MCU. Some of this might be deserved due to their not yet being a female-led film released from the studio (I'm well aware that Captain Marvel will be released at some point). While this may be the case, it is certainly safe to say that the MCU has finally introduced some strong female characters. I would like to celebrate these characters by highlighting what they mean to the MCU and its fans.

How The Superior Spider-Man Revived Peter Parker and Reminded Us Why We Need Him in the MCU
In December 2012, Marvel did the unthinkable - they killed off Peter Parker! Yes, after 50 years, our wall-crawling hero was undergoing one of his biggest status quo changes since the Clone Saga. This time, one of Peter's greatest enemies had got the better of him and Dr Octopus had won.

Supergirl Doesn't Need Superman to Succeed — Here's Why!
With the launch of Supergirl, DC's TV universe continues to grow (though it's still up in the air if it will cross over with Arrow and The Flash). From what I have seen so far, I've been really quite impressed with it. The action has been good and the special effects are decent for a television show. Melissa Benoist is also tremendously likeable in the title role. However, my one concern is the shows initial reliance on references to Superman.

5 Spider-Men Who Are Not Peter Parker
Peter Parker is Spider-Man, ask anyone who has no knowledge of comics and they will tell you this. Much like Clark Kent being Superman and Bruce Wayne being Batman in the eyes of the (very) casual fan, Spidey's secret identity is common knowledge. But today I'd like to bring 5 examples of Spider-Men who are NOT Peter Parker to your attention.
