Africa's Pre-Colonial Achievements: Unveiling the Continent's Rich Heritage
European settlers carried their own opinions on the African way of life with them when they first arrived in the continent. They considered the loincloths, grass huts, and thatched roofs to be primitive in comparison to their own ideals of civilization because they were from colder climes that required the usage of clothing. Three essential components—commerce, civilization, and Christianity—were brought with the goal of "improving" Africa. The spread of Christianity had a particularly negative effect since it forced Africans to give up their own identities and accept new ones, even though Africa had already created its own forms of trade and civilization under the influence of capitalist nations. Africans were baptized in the names of foreign gods and saints, and colonization was sold as a rise of humanity from its pre-existing condition.

A New Dawn
Where I would meet my end in this life only to be reincarnated into a new existence, I think I would very much like to be a botanist in an apothecary during the height of Greek power. A very simple life I know, however it has quite an alure to me. The idea of creating my own tonics and potions or learning more about the human body and how natural remedies can enhance our lives or even heal ailments, is so wonderful.

Cassandra's Renewal
I fear tragedy will befall humanity once again. Humanity is no stranger to tragedy being either a victim of blind nature or of others who want to dominate and feed their hunger for power with violence, abuse, and exploitation. I breathe deeply to unblock areas of stress. I remove obstacles created by my mind, so the energy can flow through me. I connect to the universe. My soul awakens as the spirit enters a slip stream and becomes part of timeless time. I see myself. I am an observer. I am an entity, who holds the spirit of the sacred feminine that is woven into the genetic fibre of humanity. I recognize all humans hold maternal mitochondrial DNA.
